Only if you move or copy items from the IMAP folders to a local PST or
Exchange mailbox.

IMAP folders are located on the mail server and search folders, while not
limited only to mail items, are required to be located in the same mail
store as the folders the search folder is monitoring. A search folder is a
special MAPI folder with filtering restrictions on it and one requirement of
that setup is that the search folder is located in the same mail store as
the monitored folders.
