Default Msg: "Drawing Objects...protected" won't save

You can't protect or unprotect all the sheets at once. You have to unprotect
them individually. I have seen this message caused by an add-in (Hyperion
SmartView), which stores information in hidden objects on the sheets.
Unprotect each sheet. When you re-protect them, be sure the 'Edit objects'
checkbox in the Protect worksheet dialog is checked.

Hope this helps,

Hutch

I'm using an XLS spreadsheet in Excel 2007, and I can't save it in either the
old or new format. the message says "Drawing Objects in one or more sheet(s)
in the workbook are protected. Please unprotect them and try to save again.
I've selected all the sheets and clicked Unprotect, but I still get this
message. Can anyone tell me how to find these objects, and how do I unprotect
them?
