Default tool 2 check doc 4 duplicate words/entries?

You could compare two documents and if the document was a list you could
find duplicate entries in a list, but the only way to search a single
document for 'similar' entries is to read it yourself.

Exactly what do you mean by duplicate entries? The same two words
together
in the one spot? How similar is "similar"?

copied and pasted from various sources onto a Word doc. I know
there are duplicate entries and without printing a very long
document, I would like to
know if there is a tool that will ck. for similar or exact entries,
and if so...how does it call the duplication out? In other
words...does it underline the duplicate so I can delete the
underlined portion?
P.S. deadline!!!no time to research!!!

" similar " enough in "meaning" for myself, as I was copying and
psting from (2) different HELP sources ( updating drivers) and
their wording was almost identical in most cases but one would add
additional info that was helpful. I am just trying to cut down on
redundancy and confusion and it is hard to do so on the screen page
by page and without printing out a large document (limited ink and
paper).

Hope I am doing this right!! It is my first attempt at a discussion
group of any kind. Hope you're patient! Thanks for you're time!
