Default "511002.WINWORD.msp" Can't remove, modify, or install office

Hi Blair,

I'm not sure which KB article you referring to but this can be caused
by several things. To correct it you will need to zap the Windows
Installer entry in the Registry and reinstall Office.

Obtain the following utility and use it to remove only the reference
to Office. Once that is complete then you'll need to reinstall Office
to point the Windows Installer to your installation CD:

I get this error whenever I try to open, uninstall,
install, etc. any office program. There is a reference
in Knowledge Base for this, but the instructions don't
apply to me because my registry files are different.

Please help out before I have to reinstall my OS.

Thanks
