Hmm I think I've found a way:

Select the shape that you want in two-tone

Select Fill, then Fill options

Select Gradient Fill

For just two colours, select the two extra gradient stops that are there by default one at a time and press Remove Gradient Stop.

Now select the first gradient stop, change its colour.

Select the second gradient stop and change its colour

If you want it to be split vertically change the Angle to 180 degrees.

Also, put BOTH gradient stops at 50% along the line to give you a sharp two-tone split.
