It seems you are the one who is attempting to put someone down, while you
are stooging for OpenOffice. It is really not very good, and lacks most of
the features power users need and want.

This is not one of them.

I use OO.o on my Linux machine (Mandrake 9.x) and find it severely
lacking
from my expectations of what an office suite should be. Even my old
Lotus
SmartSuite (1999?) does things a LOT better than that program. It has
a
LONG way to go for anyone who does more than prepare a simple document
or
uses a simple list in a spreadsheet.

And, as I said, the lack of a PIM is a major drawback. Put in a hook
to
Evolution (probably not possible now that Novell owns it) and you
might
approach 25% of the functionality already existing in Microsoft Office
97.
