THAT'S IT! I was looking everywhere for that - that's why I kept describing
it as being like part of a table! (Note: this is not the only place I've
posted.) It's a border! I was stuck on the "accent bar" title of the page
number I chose; I thought it was something different. I've tested with a new
document - this border is inserted automatically with the footer I chose.
Thank you thank you thank you. Curiosity no longer has to kill this KAT.

By the way...this is my first significant project on Word 2007. I have a
TON of experience with the old Word and also with PowerPoint 2007. I have
used a border, but only when I had inserted it myself - I could not remember
where/what it was. (Fatigue from this being the end of a long project did
not help.) I've hardly ever used footers at all in Word...never really had
to.

More than my document looking awesome, I learned SO much! Thank you again.
