Open the Title Blocks stencil from the Visio Extras

category. There is a
Zones-8 shape that adds the typical drawing zones around

the edge of a large
drawing.

I have a work process diagram that span to 3 size E
(34x132 in) paper when printed and there more than 400
shapes that represent each item in the process. The

first
reaction I always get when I show the diagram is, "How
the heck I can find a specific item in that diagram?".

An
easy way to locate a shape is by its location and use

the
vertical and horizontal rulers as guide. However this
will only work if the drawing is viewed in Visio. Since
rulers are not printed in the drawing this method can

not
be used on a printed drawing. Now, here's my question,

Is
there a way to mimic the vertical and horizontal rulers
on the drawing? In other words, put a shape on top and
left of the drawing that looks like Rulers. I can also
use the grid (since it can be printed) if it is

possible
to label the grid lines.

Thanks for all the help.
