Check out the Help menu, "About Microsoft Office Word" "System info"
"Office Applications" "Word" "COM Add-ins".
I take bets you'll find something, and that it is guilty for dirtying
Normal.dot.
And there is also a good chance that it's an Add-in from MS.

Have you saved the changes once? You need to do this to
save the new
normal.dot, otherwise you will get this message every

don't want to burndown the house and build new by going
after my whole C: drive. Any other solution? Feeling
like
chasing my own tail which I don't have. Thanks if any
