Default Date parameters

Can you provide the SQL view?
Can you provide the actual data type?
Can you provide some sample values in the field?
Have you checked any help on how to convert a field to a date value?

I cannot change data type as this is a linked table
Is there any other way?

Are you setting this criteria against a true date field? If so, you may
need
to add the data type in the Query-Parameters:
[Enter Start Date] Date/Time

Thanks John
I tried this and when I enter the start date the too complex box pops
up
Is there something I missed or forgot to do, I entered the statement
below
in the criteria box
Cheers!!!

You could use criteria like

Between [Enter Start Date] and DateAdd("d",30,[Enter Start
Date])
