Default Office product colors in windows have gone

Right mouse click on the Windows Desktop, pick "properties", then tab:
"settings" and check the display settings. Sounds like the colour
quality has been changed (probably not by the Word document). I run at
"Highest (32) Bit" setting.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

I opened a document (from a friend) awhile back and it changed my Word "look and feel". It has actually effected all Office products (Word, Excel and Publisher). My toolbars are no longer grey -- they are white. The document layout area when I am in Print Layout view is entirely white (not the grey background with white "paper") I used to have. My pull down menus are all white and the options that used to be "greyed out" look like a bunch of dots -- barely readable.

I'm up to date on my virus protection and I've even uninstalled office and re-installed to see if it would revert to the original look and feel, but it hasn't.

It's really an obnoxious way to work and I'm hoping someone has a solution!
