Default Thanks Graham

I was going to ask for more help but I worked through it. After spending all
day fussing I was able to get it done.

I read your link many times but most of my issues was positioning the table
and centering the cell. The table way works great and it now resizes the
photos (to 1.85” x 1.85” max), centers them and justifies them to the bottom
of the cell as not all of them are the same height or width but now the
centre bottom is the “anchor” shall we say.

The biggest issues I was having was that I have a title to each photo. The
title is 2-24 characters long. I wanted it centered under each photos.
Normally I would use a text box with a border around it. I couldn’t for the
life of me find a way to centre the box or table while having the boarder
change size to fit the title, it would either justify right, left or not at
all. I ended up just using a table like the photo one, placing it in the
centre below the photo and loosing the border. Small price to pay and part
of me actually likes it without a border.

Couple of notes;
- I didn’t combine mergefields, I just named the photos the same as the one
field.
- I didn’t use a Blank.jpg as it will never be blank. Always one photo.
- Not sure what “Propagate labels” is or what it does. Again, didn’t use
that part and that icon was grayed out. Guessing cause I wasn’t actually
doing labels.
- I did have to Select Tools Options General Web Options and uncheck
'Update links on save'
- I also used ALT-F9 to toggle display, that one got me again haha
- I used the \d switch even though I don’t think I needed it.

Using Word 2003, Excel and lots of coffee!

Thanks again.

The link above is exactly what I needed to learn for merging photos. Very
well done Graham!

My test went perfect. I may need to play with sizing and location of the
photos but I'm well on my way!
