Could anyone tell me how to add/insert more than one new row (ie a
specified number of new rows) in an existing table please? (Word 2007,
Win XP). Thanks.

Select a number of existing rows, then go to the Table Tools Layout
tab of the
ribbon and click either Insert Above or Insert Below. An equal number of rows
will be added above or below the selected ones.

It seems a bit convoluted! A simple right-click in WordPerfect.

Nevertheless, many thanks for your prompt and clear reply.
