Help please !!!!!

I posted this question in 'general' but got no replies, all thickos in
there, like me ;-)

A set of 4 'crop marks' (ie L shaped) have recently appeared inside the
viewable page. They show the 'cropping' area of the page inside the
page margins, although of course you would not crop there. The printer
is an A4 laser so it is nothing to do with print margins and these
'crop marks' line up exactly with the margin setttings.

The only thing I did recently was install Asian character support but I
think they appeared some time afterwards.

It is really annoying at the moment as I have to make quite o lot of
screen grabs of Word documents to go on a web site and they appear in
each one.
