varying the # to get the table into the desired location.

We have a Word document that has a few dozen wide tables. The document
will be bound as a normal 8.5/11" technical report, so the wide tables
start on a left page and continue across to the right page.

We're using Word's tables, but we want to provide absolute positions for
the vertical alignment of each table. For example, sometimes, we'll want
the table on a right-hand page to start 2" from the top margin; other
times, we'll want it to start 3" from the top. Is there a way to do this
on a table-by-table basis?

I was hoping that there would be a way to tell the table where to start
after a given paragraph. I suppose I could play around with text boxes,
but I'd rather not do that.
