To remove the identity, make sure you are not in that identity at the
time, and Remove won't be grayed out. File | Identities | Manage
Identities.

Open the Address Book in the old identity and File | Export | Address
Book
(wab) to any place on your HDD that is easy for you. My Documents is
fine.
Then, open the Address Book in the new identity and File | Import |
Address Book (wab) and point to where you saved it. (Might as well keep
a
copy saved).

I'm making progress. I followed the instructions in the link you
provided to
me.
Created new identity - actually created two more while
doing this. Screen says I can remove some of those I created,by
highlighting
it and then clicking REMOVE but remove tab is grayed out.

Also, she now has her old address book in one identity but not in the
one
she wants to keep. How can I move the address book from one identity
to
another?

Thanks for your ongoing help in answering these two questions

View | Layout | Customize Toolbar. Ensure those buttons are supposed

showing.

If still no joy.

Toolbars disappear from Message Composition windows or the main OE
window:

This may be a re-send. Adding the check to Toolbar in Layout screen
did
not
do the fix. She has checks in Folder Bar and Status bar in
addition
to
the
Toolbar check that I added. Should other boxes be checked besides
Toolbar?
Thanks

Trying to help a friend. Running OE6. From shortcut on desktop
(Win
XP)
she
gets to her Inbox, but the screen does not show Create, etc. It
says
File,
Edit, View, Tools, Message and Help. There is no Send and
Receive,
and
no
Address Book.

I think she has to have the OE Toolbar checked but how to get to
it.
Thanks
