Default Installing 2010 with 2003

There is no 2010 Home and Business, there is 2010 Home & Student which is
not licensed for business use.

You can install 2010 in parallel with 2003 but you can only use a single
version of Outlook

2010 will install, by default, to a version specific folder

Easy transfer is not the way to go, within explorer copy data as neccessary

I will install 2010 Home and Business under Win 7 Home Premium when it
comes from Amazon . 2003 is now installed and I would like to have
available it on this machine until I get comfortable with 2010. My major
use is Word and Excel and maybe Outlook. I understand the old 2003
Outlook will be used rather than the 2010 Outlook. If I uninstall 2003
Outlook (which I use very, very seldom) before I install 2010, will the
2010 Outlook then work?

Also, how can I get all of the 2003 Word Templates and customization
transferred to 2010. In the case of the templates I guess it would be
simply copying those templates to the appropriate 2010 folders but don't
have a clue about other customization. (Maybe Win7's Easy Transfer.) I
know how to do it for Excel. In my case it is mostly taken care of by
using the 2003 Personal XLS.

I had a brief encounter with 2007 but didn't like the ribbon one bit so I
went back to 2003. I understand 2010 has some ribbon customization
features that might make it acceptable to me. I hope so.

Thank you very much.
