Default change total number of pages

In Page X of Y, the Y part is usually a NUMPAGES field. You can change it to
a SECTIONPAGES field to show the total number of pages within a Word section.

Activate the header/footer view, for example by double-clicking the header.
Press Alt+F9 to show field codes. Change NUMPAGES to SECTIONPAGES. Press F9
to update the field. Press Alt+F9 again to hide field codes.

can any body tell me how can we change total number of pages in the same
document.

For example, my document consists of total six pages. To number my pages, I
select "Page X of Y" option in footer. So this will include the total number
of pages (i-e., 6) with the page number in each page.(From 1 to 6)

Now supposedly, if i want a different page number on Page 3 of the document.
Lets say i want to number it as page 1. For this to happen, ill first do a
"section break" at page 2 and in "Header & Footer" group, click "format page
numbers", and then type 1 in the "Start at" box.

This will number my page 3 of the document as 1. On page 3 it will appear as
Page 1 of 6. Like wise all my pages will be numbered as:

page 1.......... Page 1 of 6
page 2.......... Page 2 0f 6

page 3.......... Page 1 of 6
page 4 ......... Page 2 of 6
page 5 ......... Page 3 of 6
page 6 ......... Page 4 of 6

But i want to change the total number of pages (i-e., Y) on page 3 also. The
above mentioned feature in MS WORD allows me to change the page number of
current page whereas i want to change both i-e., the current page number
along with total number of pages.

Here is a sample TO WHAT I WANT!!

page 1.......... Page 1 of 2
page 2.......... Page 2 0f 2

page 3.......... Page 1 of 4
page 4 ......... Page 2 of 4
page 5 ......... Page 3 of 4
page 6 ......... Page 4 of 4

PLEASE HELP ME IF ANY ONE KNOWS ABOUT ITS SOLUTION.

I HAVE SEARCHED FOR IT EVERYWHERE IN THE WORD.
