trying to build a circular model with several wedges that I can type labels
onto and then use multi media to animate each sub shape of this circular
model...Sounds complicated. I wish I could paste into this a sample. email
me and I will send you a bitmap of what I am trying to build myself....Thanks
to anyone who can help...

I'd first try creating a pie chart. Ungroup it, delete the bits you don't want
and enjoy your wedgie with what's left ;-)

If that doesn't get you there quickly, skip directly to AutoShapes, Lines,
FREEFORM.

Draw what you want as a series of straight lines (click for each vertex, don't
drag). Then use Edit Points to convert some of the lines/vertices to curves or
corner points. Takes a little getting used to, but I think it'll be exactly
what you need.
