Default Distribution Lists missing contacts

Are you sure you're friend's using Outlook Express and not Outlook?

Is this "distribution list" a Group (folder) in (Windows) Address Book?

I've been working with a friend that is having a weird problem with
Outlook
Express and Windows/XP. They have a few different distribution lists
created, and when they go back in to use one of those lists, there are
contacts that were on it before, but have just disappeared from the
distribution list. It is intermittant and seems to be very inconsistant
as
well. I've watched them add contacts, and they do that properly. Then
they
update the distribution list, and they do update the list properly. The
names that disappear, are almost always names that have been on the list
originally, or at least not the last ones that were added. I thought that
might have been the problem (not updating the list after selecting new
members), but that is not the case.

If any of you have any ideas, I'd really appreciate hearing them. This
has
been ongoing for several months. The are up to date with all the fixes
for
Windows, they are at service pack 3.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide,

Ron
