I should add that I can cancel out of the setup/config process and the
program will run. I also get a cryptic "stdole.tbl" message with Excel with
the splash page.

Product installed but every program opens with the installer, followed by
the configuration screen and config activity. Program finally comes up,
but I've wasted two to three minutes waiting. Tried the repair program, to
no effect. Running Vista Home Premium, all current updates to Vista and to
