Default filter

Karl,
Thank you so much. It worked. I actually tried this before but got an error
message so I thought the query didn't work. If I looked more carefully I
would have noticed the two fields were formated differently. One was formated
for number and the other for text. After I reformatted one of the fields same
as the other. It worked. Thanks again for your help!

That would be a part of a query SQL statement.
In design view the grid would look like this --
FIELD: Tier
TABLE: YourTableName
SORT:
CRITERIA: [S Tier]

While in design view you can take a look at the SQL by clicking on VIEW -
SQL View. It opens another window displaying the SQL.

Karl,
Thanks for the response. I know it is just a simple expression like that but
I don't know where I can put this expression.

WHERE [Tier] [S Tier]

I have a database that have two fields: Tier and S Tier. There are different
values in these fields (e.g. Tier:1, 2, 3, 4... S Tier: 1, 2, 3, NC, DME...).
What I want is to only look at those records where Tier and S Tier are
different. In other words, if a record has "1" in both Tier and S Tier
fields, I want to filter that record out. Can you help?

Thanks!
