Format - Styles. When the left pane open, at the bottom, i the Show: box,
change "All Styles" to "Styles in use".

idea of the style, but what if the document was created by someone else

your computer does not have the style that was used and thus you yourself
had
to figure out the formatting and then create a style.

Any ideas on how to figure out the style without checking all the settings
under "Format" from the menu bar?
