When I try to add Fax mail transport in outlook 2007, I get a message
saying
"The account you added is not fully configured. It might not work properly
until re-configured correctly." The only option is to cancel. Can anyone
throw any light on what needs to be configured to enable me to add this
service? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
TIA

Thanks for your reply,
I am using vista ultimate with windows fax and scan, I am trying to enable
fax mail transport to do a mail merge to fax, to send send faxes to
multiple
recipients using outlook contacts. I tried to add fax mail transport by
going
to :- control panel/mail/ email accoumts/new/ other/fax mail transport.
The
store is outlook.pst which contains a pop3 email account, two hotmail
accounts and a lycomail account. Hope this is enough info.
Regards

I can send single faxes using windows fax and scan, can you tell me what I
should be looking for? Could it be something to do with the new security
features in Vista?

That did the trick. It didnt occur to me that I needed to run outlook as
an
administrator, as I am logged onto windows using an administrator account.
Anyway thanks for your help.

The other time I got that error message however was when I had a modem
that
was incompatible with Vista.
