Default I apologize

I'm sorry for this post. I didn't want to offend, annoy or anger any of
you. I just get tired of constantly fighting with software, and this just
pushed me over the edge. Little quirks take too much of my time, and

there are many of them.

Hello Mark
It is always nice to see a poster apologise to the world when they think
they have gone a bit too far. Whether I think that is neither here nor
there. Apart from the 'ranting' side of the thread, there was little I
could see that would offend.
I am sure that 'Horace' was thinking of you and others, when he wrote:-
'Anger is a short madness'.

I have read through this thread of yours, though some may think I might have
had better things to do, and I would like to thank you for putting to the
fore what lots of other software users probably feel, rightly or wrongly,
into words.
However, crossposting did seem excessive - just the IE7 group would have
been fine, and I have learned a couple of things.
I have been able to add a couple of 'trolls' to my kill file'
I have seen that my knowledge of downloading is better than others.
I have also seen the dangers of using ones fingers before engaging brains.
I have discovered that there IS something worse one can do to one's computer
that is more dangerous than just downloading betaware. And that is
downloading betaware and not knowing one has done it!
Rgds
