Default Outlook 2007 / live.com e-mail address

I dont use either so cannot tell you, certain mail providers have to option
to set up an account as either pop or Imap
eg gmail can be configured for either type of account

OK...I see that now...DUH

Just curious though...why did the others register themselves as 'MAPI' and
'live.com' registered as 'POP'...aren't they all coming from MSN...

Then why did all of my other 'hotmail.com' and 'msn.com' e-mail
addresses
create their own separate set of folders...

Recently added a new 'live.com' e-mail address to Outlook 2007
and
all
testing went well...the new e-mail address shows under the data
management
e-mail tab however it is not showing in the folder list to the
left
as
the
others do...

Have restarted Outlook several times...

What type of account did you define for your Live Mail?
