can't send any emails, error -Task 'pop.windstream.net - Sending and
Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC78) : 'Unable to send the message. Please
verify the e-mail address in your account properties. The server responded:
(53 Authentication is required to send mail as "xxxxxx.windstream.net" I
checked authenication in settings but then when I tested account it would not

I recently purchased a new computer which had a trial version of
Outlook. I purchased MSOffice XP and installed (hindsight I should
have deleted trial first). Outlook will not connect to mail server,
in account when test settings says "can not open outgoing email
address incorrect" however I can run Outlook express and
retrieve/send email. I uninstalled both trial and purchased version
and reinstalled but still get same error when testing account.
