Default Custom size drawing reduce size to fit pasted object - don't want

When you set a custom page size it should remain the same. What is the object
that is being pasted into Visio? At which point do you lose your page
settings when you drop the object on the page or when the drawing is
reopened? If the radio button for size to fit drawing contents is not checked
it should not change the paper size. Do you have the latest drivers for your
printer and operating system?

I am using Visio 2003 standard.

I created a custom page which is 4.2135 x 3.3117 inches. When I paste a
Visio object into my page and save it, the custom page resize itself to the
size of the pasted object (which in my case smaller then my original page
size I created).

I would like the size of my custom page fix in size and don't change.

How do do this ???

I did this: 1) Print setup, I just used letter size Page size) I used
custom size and set it to 4.2135 x 3.3117 landscape. The print zoom shows
fix exactly 1 sheet.

I would appreciate any help !!!

If I put a border around the original custom size, the the will not change.

Thank You,
