Default Moving text within a documet

If you've clicked there, yes. Is that text in a text box or just a "normal"
paragraph?

Yes. When I highlight the text and try to copy and paste it where I want
it
it does not end up where I have specified. I just don't know what to do
other than just retype it in where I want it. When I copy and paste
should
the text not go where my cursor is??

I understand your hesitation. I don't see a function that will allow me
to
move text in any other way. Am I missing something?

I'm a bit hesitant to tell you how as this is a homework assignment on
formatting. Have you tried using Word's Help function?

No I am new to Word and cannot get text to move where I need it to be.
Would
you mind helping me by telling me how to move text? Thank you!

Help you how? I assume you've learned how to do this so what
specifically
are you having trouble with?

I am doing an assignment for school. We have to format a document
that
is
downloaded. I am trying to move a small block of text to another
location
within the same document. Can anyone help me?
