Can I use Visio to create a bow tie risk diagram?

I want to create a bow tie diagram without having to start completely from
scratch or purchasing additional software. I am hoping a template exists
somewhere. Bow tie diagrams are risk assessment flow diagrams that are
shaped like a bow tie with the Hazards and associated preventative controls
on the left hand side flowing to a centre "undesirable event" and then
flowing out to a significant consequence. Along the lines feeding into and
out of the centre are boxes that represent controls or barriers that either
prevent the undesirable event (left side) or the consequence right side.
Anyone who has seen or used one will know what I mean.

Hi JMW,

I took a quick look at "Bow Tie Diagram" on the Google Image search. It
looks like you could do this type of diagram with Visio's flowchart
template. You'd simply add a circle to the center and connect shapes to it.
You'd probably want to right-click the connectors and choose "Straight" to
make them flow directly at the circle...or you could change the File Page
Setup Layout and Routing setting for connector styles.

I don't know the advanced features that this type of diagram require, but I
think you could at worst get a basic Bow Tie diagram going in Visio without
too much effort.
