Default Outlook stopped working when I uninstalled the Office 2007 trial

Well - under the General question pool I found the answer to my issue:
Scanpst.exe is a program on my system - I'm not sure if it's an Office
program or a windows one, but it WORKED!!! Email again after two weeks!!
