How do Implement the new .pst that I made into outlook 2000? Do I have to
new profile, which I'm not sure on how to do, or can I just go
file -Import- then select the new .pst that I recreated?

Depending on the size a repair can take a whole while. The system might
think it is not responding because of that. Make sure the pst-file is on
the
local client and if it is a big pst-file run the recovery overnight and
leave the computer alone.
