Default Need to control where watermark displays in document

It helps to know that a watermark is just an ordinary graphic or WordArt
that's anchored in the header
(http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/AnchorToHeader.htm) and positioned in
the middle of the page. So it follows the same rules as headers do, as far
as which pages it appears on.

For example, if you want the watermark to appear starting on page 4 of a
document, you need a section break between pages 3 and 4; and you need to go
into the header of section 2 (which now starts on page 4) and turn off the
Same As Previous attribute for that header. Then the header -- and hence the
watermark or lack of one -- can be different in section 2 than it is in
section 1.

Starting on page 2 is a special case: you can just check the option for
"Different first page", and not have a watermark on page 1.

Word has a nasty tendency, when using the watermark dialog, to force the
dialog into all headers in all sections without asking. Then you have to go
to sections where you don't want one, and delete the watermark. Sometimes
it's easier to copy the watermark from one section (you have to open the
header pane to be able to select it) and then paste it into the headers of
other sections.

I added a watermark to my document, but need to control where it
displays (i.e., what page it starts on). I did not see a way to do
that in Word's Custom Watermark (Printed Watermark) dialog box. Is
there a way to control this?
