Default Contact address appears in Contact folder but not when choosing contact to forward message to.

As I said, you are not displaying the correct Contact Folder in the Outlook
Address Book view. Why do you have 4?
You'll need to enable all 4 as electronic address books for them all to
appear in that view. Do so in the properties for each folder.

The To: contact list? What is that?
If the contact does not appear in the address book view, then you did not
add it to the Contact Folder you are displaying in the address book view.

I run WinXP SP3 and Outlook 2007. I add a contact to the Contacts folder
but when I try to forward an email that contact is not in the To: contact
list.

When I click 'Forward' a new message box opens with the options To: CC:
and BCC: if I click the To: button my Contacts folder opens but the
contact I want is not there. If I go back to the main Outlook page and
click on Contacts, I have four separate lists of contacts, if I click on
the main Contacts list the contact I am looking for is there.
