You can grab/rip the music (assuming you have copyright clearance) from the CD to a WAV or MP3 file, that will play in
powerpoint using "insert menu movies and sounds sound from file

If you embed the sound file into the ppt file then the file will get bigger.
If you link the sound file, then the ppt file will stay the same size, but you will still have to include the wav/mp3
files with your presentation. So you still have the same filesize. (Note: MP3 files cannot be embeded in powerpoint,
only WAV files can)


Will I be able to fit onto a small USB Flash stick/drive (128 MB).

How long is a piece of string. It depends on how big your powerpoint ppt file is, and how big your music wav/mp3 file
is. The answer is Maybe


I could use a CD-R/RW, but then I can't use a audio CD.

If you grab/rip the audio then CD-R will probably be your best bet.
