Default News Group problem

I've successfully subscribed to the MSN NG but the old imported one shows up
with a name of Alltel and as stated earlier it does not show under
ToolsAccountsNews thus can't delete it. Registry was not backed up due to
a sudden castrophic failure of my Hard Drive.
Yes I've tried the search you mention, no luck.

I'm not sure what you are looking for. Newsgroup settings can be Exported
and Imported, but not the newsgroups themselves unless you backed up the
registry. If you didn't, you have to re-subscribe to each newsgroup again.

Have you tried a search and included Hidden Files and Folders? Still not
sure what you are attempting to do here, or what you have already
successfully done.

Bruce,
They are in a Folder named Alltel, other drive was named MSN News.

Cannot
find that folder in my OE store location. Unfortunately, had to Recover
this PC with Windows ME so only update I could get from MS is for IE6.

What folder are they in? Can you find it and delete it? If you are

using
the
same machine, I can see that you apparently have set up the news server
as
you are posting using OE. I can also see that you desperately need to

go
to
Windows Updates.

My hard drive recently crashed. I installed new one then imported my
Outlook Express Files/Folders to OE6, however, when importing the MSN

News
Groups, it put them under a Folder that does not show under

AccountsNews.
How can I delete that Folder?
