Default Conceal Identity

If I search this newsgroup for messages FROM , I get your 3
posts in as a result.

No cookies are involved when accessing newsgroups via a newsreader (e.g.,
OE).

You say you would search on certain lines in a header ....
Are lines 4 to end unique to me and identify me in all my posts?

I noticed something else this evening .................
I watched as Norton Antivirus scanned my HD tonight. VAV identified whay
it
called a "Tracking Cookie". Could this possibly be something this
"character" is using to track my posts to newsgroups?

Every post I make to newsgroups is being maliciously tracked by a

MS Outlook Express has little to do with what shows up in some header
lines.
While you can control the name and email address, you can't control the
IP
address. The server you connect to sees your IP address, and either adds
it,
or not, depending upon how it is configured. That is up to the NNTP
server
administrator.

Consider your posting headers:

Those are some of the lines I would use to search on. You have control
over
line 2. MSOE controls line 3. Your NNTP provider controls the rest.
