Is there a way to run a find and replace command on a type of formatting
rather than a word string? I need to change all underlines in a 100
page document to italics--and there are hundreds of them!

Thanks,
s.

I should have specified that I'm using Word 2003. I did figure out how to expand the find and replace menu to include formatting, and set it up to find underline and replace with italic. However, all it will do is *add* italics to the underlined passages. It does not remove the underline.
