And it very well could be the network but we have to get thru insuring it is
not the database first! So far I have seen nothing that indicates it's the
database. How many controls (fields are on each form/subform and do you
have any calaculated fields on the form/subforms?

Exactly what kind of network? (I am assuming the back end is an MDB,
