I'm fairly certain that the only way to correct that is to un-protect the
document and fix the margins and layout.

You may still be able to print the document on 5 pages by using the scaling
feature in the print dialogue.

I opened a protected Word 2003 document in Word 2007 and it reformatted part
of the document that is protected. For some reason when I opened the 2003
protected document in 2007 the top of the page dropped a line or 2 making the
document 6 pages instead of 5. The area that dropped is protected and I can
