Default make calculations work with one worksheet closed

So why won't it work since both are in my documents? I'm a little confused.

Bob, I think the answer to that is no.

If you update the first Workbook without Worbook 2 being open it will
not
populate across automatically.

However, if you update Worbook 1 without Workbook 2 being open when you
do
open Workbook 2 you should get a Security Warning towards the top of
the
EXCEL screen.

Click on Options . . . / select Enable this content and hit OK. This
will
pull in any updates that may have been made in Workbook 1.
