Default To include a *.mp3 in a message

Just try by yourself send your C:\Bla bla bla.mp3 to yourself
and open your email by MSOE

You hear it because the original is on your machine. Got a friend you can
test with? Send it to them and see if they can hear it. If it is an MP3,
they shouldn't.

Steve and Bruce, thank you, anyway.

My other story is,
I was so confident to proudly announce to my yahoogroups
that MSOE support *.mp3

Just try by yourself send your C:\Bla bla bla.mp3 to yourself
and open your email by MSOE.

Guess what? You can hear your *.mp3 on your speaker...

Sent it as an attachment, if you need to email it. Format | Background
| Sound never supported MP3 format.

I am using Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2900.2180.
When I "Write Message" and then Format | Background | Sound...

The *.mp3 not send to the other email recipient.

On Properties | Message Source, I found something like this:

BGSOUND balance=3D0 volume=3D0 loop=3Dinfinite=20 src=3D"C:\Bla bla
bla.mp3"

It seem that the MSOE not converted the *.mp3 to the inline attachment.

Any suggestion?

TIA
