Default Headers & Footers

When you can't find something in Help in Word 2007, the best resource is
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/wo...649261033.aspx, which provides
access to the generally helpful Word 2003 Help file. But also see

Thank you for your response Pam, I checked the link and not being
familiar
with styleref field - I did as it suggested and checked help for styleref
field. Word 7 says it can't find any such thing.

For more information about the STYLEREF field, click the Index tab in
Microsoft Word 7.0 Help, type the following text
STYLEREF

I'm setting H&F in a long document. I have no problem with the odd/even
numbering. However, I want the chapter name to change in the header on
each
chapter. I've read all the helps and cannot find my error. I think
it's in
the section breaks but can't figure out where I'm going wrong. It seems
to
work for a few chapters then it either reverts to the previous one or
when I
set the last chapter -- the headers all change to that chapter name.
I've
been workng on this all week with no luck.

Would so much appreciate any help!!
