Default MSOCache in Office 2007

You will need those files in the MSO Cache. Leave it alone

I acquired Office Enterprise 2007 under the Home Use Program.

As you know, this is a vast piece of software. I installed only a small fraction of
it. Even so, I have in MSOCache installers and utilities for portions of the suite
that I will never use, so the MSOCache is huge. And it continues to grow, as
Microsoft Update serves updates for applications I will never use.

I realize that Microsoft made MSOCache a 'non optional' feature of Office 2007, and
does not think we should attempt to remove it. And I don't mean to be a
troublemaker. But isn't there a way I can safely get rid of this 800 lb. gorilla?
It's really no bother for me to pop in the DVD for updates, repair or whatever else.
