Default File Locked

A small child turns to Ed, and exclaims: "Look! Look! A post from
Elwood !"...
When trying to
copy it from the hard drive of the other computer to mine,
it gives me an "Access Denied" error message and suggests
that my hard drive may be full (it is not) or that the file
is write protected (it is not nor is the section of the
hard drive I tried to copy it to).

Are you able to copy other files from the same location to your local hard
drive?
Can you copy it from where it is to another area of the remote hard drive
before copying it over?
If you log on to the remote computer (either via Remote Desktop or locally),
are you able to copy the file to your computer? Or to another area of the
PC in question?
