Hi Linea,

The correct way to uninstall Office 2003 is to use the 'Programs and
Features' applet in Vista's 'Control Panel' - select Office 2003 and
choose 'Uninstall'.


That's how I tried it in the first place, with the sad results as described
in my first message.

I always try to avoid making a mess, but then it seems ©MS will make it for
me anyway...
