Hi Glenn,

I used the LISTOOL and moved MSOCache to my C: drive.

Thanks so much for your help! Thanks too to the two Bobs for their help!

Bob B,

I now realize that in addition to installing Office 2000 (Word and Excel
only), I also installed FrontPage 2003. I suspect the MSOCache folder
was installed by FrontPage 2003. If that's the case, the info here
(suggested by Bob I) would apply:
Local Install Source (Msocache)

Yep - missed the "2000" when you mentioned the MSOCACHE - that explains
the small size as well... All Office 2003 programs use the LIS, and we
are likely to see other applications from third parties do something
similar in the years to come. You probably have also discovered that the
reason that it was created on the D: drive is that it defaults to the
drive w/most available free disk space. IF you want to keep it, you can
download the LISTOOL from:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Which will allow you to move the cache to a new drive.
