It is one of the things I turn off in all versions - nothing like having
your work interrupted by a message that you have new spam in your in-box.

For Outlook 2003, try using a rule to display a new message alert (new in
this version) - try using "mail sent to your address" as the rule condition.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
