Default Make Text Part of Chart

If the text disappears when you select the chart, you didn't have the
chart selected when you created the text box.

Click on the chart first, to select it. You'll see handles on the
corners and sides of the chart.

Then, type the text, and press enter, to create the text box.

OK I got that part. But now if I click on the chart to
copy it, the text box disappears and does not copy. I
also encounter the problem that if I resize the chart, the
text box does not move with the chart and I have a long
task of moving the items. (By the way, when I mention
text, I mean more than one comment on the graph and
numerous other little add-ons.

Thanks, but my question has to do with management instead
of creation.

Select the chart, and type the text you want to appear on

the chart.

As you type, you'll see the text in the formula bar.
Press Enter, and a text box will appear near the centre

of the chart.

Drag it to any location within the chart, and format as

required.

moves when I resize a chart, and I would like the text

to

stay where it is relative to my placement.
