Default Invalid Product Key On Office 2003 60 Day Trial

wrote:
purchased a new HP notebook with microsoft works & money
installed and ready to use and icon for Microsoft Office
2003 Standard Edition INSTALL on it. i click on icon to
begin installation... the instructions say that the
Produck key is on the back of the Works & Money CD
Wallet. i've tried several times to install only to
receive the INVALID PRODUCT KEY message. i contacted
microsoft and they sent me a new product key... tried it
and received the same INVALID PRODUCT KEY message. i
read a microsoft article about duplicate installations of
WORD being the problem. that Works contains WORD and
thus the installation would be blocked for that reason.
however while looking at the list of programs in the
ADD/REMOVE software list... i noticed that the version of
the program on my computer's hard drive is OFFICE 2003
STANDARD EDITION... whereas the version noted on the
sticker on the back of the CD wallet says OFFICE STUDENT
AND TEACHER EDITION 2003 TRIAL... does this make a
difference? if it does am i supposed to get a key for
STANDARD instead of STUDENT AND TEACHER?

i appreciate any assistance microsoft can give me.

thank you

1) This isn't Microsoft.

2) Contact HP. MS doesn't offer any support for OEM-supplied software.
All support - including replacement keys and media - is the responsibility
of the OEM.
